Robert's Bio

Robert has always had a wild side for adventure. Born and raised in Southern California it’s no surprise that he would fall in love with surfing, skateboarding, and water skiing. Somewhere in his early to mid twenties he picked up jet skiing and dirt bike riding. He absolutely loved to ride and was always up for a challenge. He still to this day, has a “Bring it on!” attitude.

Robert worked for Kawasaki Motorcycles and Malcolm Smith Motorcycles, where he met his riding and racing friends. He and his friends raced in the Score International Off Road Desert Series which took them to Baja for many races (including the Baja 1000). Robert has raced in the Baja 1000 five times.

During Robert’s mid 30’s he changed course and thought working in the world of car racing would be exciting. He has worked for some legendary racers and several different professional teams such as – Walker Evans (NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series), Dan Gurney’s All American Racers (Cart Champ Car and Toyota Atlantic Series), Hylton Motorsports (Toyota Atlantic Series) and Sierra Sierra Enterprises (Toyota Atlantic Series). The teams took him all over the US and internationally as well. His job title was truck driver, pit crew member, and most favorite… jokester. Robert has a great sense of humor and loved to joke around with his team mates.

Robert made another career move in his early 40’s where he worked for Performance Marketing Group, a company that specializes in mobile exhibits and event marketing. He has worked on several different accounts over the last few years, but Nitto and Dunlop were his favorite accounts. Again, he was a truck driver, and did event set-up. The events were typically at car shows (like Hot Import Nights) and some indoor events.

Through the years he would make time to ride, it was tough with his travel schedule, but whenever possible he would head out to the desert seeking adventure and ride to his heart’s content.
